ORIGINAL ARTWORK AND PRINTS
When buying an original painting or produced print, you buy the physical object to have and enjoy. The buyer owns only the artwork, NOT the copyright to the artwork purchased.
The copyright remains with the La Fin. LLC unless the following is specified:
LA FIN. LLC specifically signs over copyright to the buyer.
Unless one of these circumstances applies, the art buyer does not automatically acquire the right to reproduce: cards, prints, posters, on t-shirts, or anything considered merchandise, when they purchase a painting or print.
When purchasing, you’re acquiring ownership of the artwork but not the rights to reproduce it.
